Frazier Boyd, or simply ‘BOYD’, as he is commonly known, is an artist with a defining style. He is inquisitive, illusive and utterly obsessed with surfaces & textures, spending much of his time looking for them and working with them. He tries to work in harmony with the environment, often disguising his art masterfully, as a chameleon would hide on a beautiful textured, coloured rock. His art takes inspiration from a huge range of backgrounds: from Japanese Geisha’s, original New York Graffiti Crews, harsh rusty textures, stencil masking, eastern philosophies, to old school tattoos and 1960’s fashion. He is always experimenting with pushing what he hasn’t seen before, and doing it to a high standard, making him an important and influential artist, that crosses boundaries and takes the Street Art to another level.
